This project was developed in September 2008 by Pre-Intermediate students. They had to make a powerpoint presentation about a beautiful place in Brazil. We had just seen a lesson which covered a place description. Students sent the ppt presentations to my e-mailed and I posted them in our class blog where many other teachers have left comments.

I created this blog in 2007 to be used during a hands-on workshop for teachers who were beginning to blog. It brings instructions and links to various tools and widgets.

This is a joint project Isabel Neves (teacher from Portugal) and I have been developing. We´ve created a blog to promote interaction between her students and mine. Some interaction took place in the second semester of 2007 and we´re going to keep on working the first semester of 2008.

This was a project suggested by Mary Hillis in the “Learning with Computers” Yahoo community where we asked our students to visit different sites which offered listening activities to EFL / ESL learners, try them out and then choose one of the sites to present to their classmates. Pre-Inter 3 students from Cultura Inglesa- Uberlandia (Brazil) took part in the project. The involvement of students was great and it was the first time they presented in front of class in English. I was very happy with the result.

This was the first joint project I took part in. A friend of mine who lives in the US and works at a school told me some kids were learning about Brazil and they wanted to ask a few questions to me about my country. The interaction would be via e-mail but as I had just started blogging and had already noticed the various possibilities of sharing info, pictures and sounds in the blog, I suggested creating a blog to register this interaction. The kids sent us questions via e-mail and I involved my students in answering them.
