My name is Ana Maria Menezes , a brazilian EFL teacher. I coordinate a language institute in Uberlandia, Brazil where I teach and also train fellow teachers. I started blogging in 2006 after attending a session given by Carla Arena and Erika Cruvinel and have become a member of the Yahoo Community “Learning with Computers” since then. At the end of 2007, I was invited by Carla Arena to co-moderate a session along with many other teachers at EVO 2008 “Blogging4educators”. This personal portfolio started during this same session and the aim is to share and display various projects I´ve developed or taken part of.

Well, when you get into the dashboard, there is a link below where it says AVATAR. That´s where you upload your picture. But to show your picture go to presentation, widgets and then drag your avatar into one of the boxes. Well, I´m trying out as well. Thanks for the visit.

I love it, Ana María!!
It looks very professional, indeed!
I started my Virtual Hub a couple of months ago since I couldn’t keep up with all the links and projects I’ve developed with so many fantastic colleagues since I joined EVO for the first time. Remember our Film Festival in 2006?
I’m really glad to share the Blogging Team with you and I look forward to many, many more joint projects!
Hugs from Argentina,
Carla R.
Don’t forget the blogging4educators tag!

Hi Ana Maria, I really like the topic you’ve chosen. I also think the layout is fantastic, too. I wish I could start a portfolio soon, not so far from now, but I’m just doing my baby steps….
A warm hug from Misiones, Argentina.

Hi Ana Maria!
Great blog! I’m having a bit of a struggle with WordPress too, and very little time to experiment, unfortunately. You’ve done a very good job and I’m sure you’re going to master the tools in no time! The idea of a portfolio is great!
Um abraço,
Mônica

Hi, Ana María!
I’d never thought of blogging about my blogging experiences… Most interesting… I think I’l add this kind of posts to by Edublog too… Combined with my RSS on Pageflakes, I’d say that gives us a way of showing all we do in different teaching contexts.
Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Ana Maria,
Congratulations on creating your professional blogfolio in WordPress! Your blog will grow and grow as you participate in and coordinate various online projects — your work has already inspired other educators to get involved with blogging! I am also enjoying learning about this new blog host during this year’s EVO session. It is a pleasure to co-moderate with you.
